700 (Q49 V36/6.0) - just made it.

Edited post.

I have since received my AWA score and I am now debating if I should consider applying to Bschools next year with this score. I am also wondering if a retake will up my chances. Looking for the experts to advise if a retake is a prudent decision.

This forum has been really helpful and chineseburned deserves specific mention for the AWA template!

I have been lurking around the forums for a few months now. I gave the GMAT yesterday and scored a 700 (Q49, V36). Not particularly impressed with my performance but gave my best shot.

GMAT Experience:
5 hr energy was key to my 8AM test being successful. I do recollect making a couple of silly mistakes on quant but overall I finished the Q and V sections 5 minutes before and felt confident of a decent score.

Educational Background:
BE, Electronics and Communication Engineering (GPA:3.6, Non-IIT Univ India)
MS, Electrical Engineering, Top 40 US University (GPA: 3.8)
Indian Male - 28yrs

Work Experience:
Total 4 years - Technology/Business Consultant for a US based medium sized Telecom Consulting Firm. Ongoing engagement for 4 years at Fortune 100 Cable client, USA
Supported and/or managed multiple IT Projects spanning Network Engineering, Service Delivery, Customer Care, Sales and HR Organizations

Voluntary service: Nothing stellar but have been involved in establishing professional organizations and supporting NGO's.

Schools:
Top 10 but not decided when I intend to join. Might consider a retake of GMAT.
