Hi amulyahwr! A few quick comments on your profile (just note that this probably isn't the best forum for this type of question - this is more for people to come and tell us where they were accepted, rather than questions like yours - you might want to explore the other forums like Ask A Consultant etc for this type of stuff).

If you just have one year of experience so far you're a bit young for many of the best MBA programs. (Your GMAT score is also a little low - the verbal side will cause many adcoms concern - you should think about retesting if you want to go to a good program in the U.S. or Europe.) The choice of school really depends on factors that you didn't tell us about - like, what are your career goals? You might find that there are early-career master's programs that could be a good fit, if you want to go back to school right away. Otherwise you'll probably benefit from working for another few years and then planning to apply later on. Each school looks for different things and has varying criteria about how much work experience they prefer etc., so you'll want to do more research into the requirements of the specific program you're interested in.

With your current GMAT you would potentially qualify for schools that are ranked in the Top 50, though again that verbal side is low. It would help you a lot if you took the test again, particularly since you are so young and have so much time. :-) Studying for the GMAT verbal will also help you tremdously on the TOEFL side (a low GMAT verbal *or* a low TOEFL could be a real obstacle for a candidate).

It's good you're thinking about tuition too but there's no such thing as an "affordable" tuition :-D at least not where top schools are concerned!! Living expenses are also likely to cause shock to the system if you're thinking about a school overseas - again, it's good you're using these factors in your decision-making. The more research you do, the better.

You've come to the right place for getting started on your process - good luck with everything and hope it works out for you!
