Hello, thanks for taking the time to look over my profile- any advice would be greatly appreciated.

GMAT: 640 (38Q/40V)
GPA: 3.7 (State College, Liberal Arts)

Academic Highlights
- Distinguished Military Graduate (ranked within the top 10% of approx. 4,800 cadets nationwide) Reserve Officer Training Corps

Career Highlights
- Captain (Army, Infantry), 7 years of service
- Platoon Honor Graduate, Infantry Basic Officer Leader's Course (Rank 1/45)
- 2x combat deployments (1 to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan)
- Responsible for the leadership, discipline, training and sustainment of a 40 man infantry platoon in combat; conducted over 150 combat patrols; trained Iraqi security force leaders
- Ensured readiness and accountability for equipment valued at over $14M
- Held additional duty of Field Ordering Officer in Iraq; validated contracts and supervised disbursement of funds to Iraqi contractors
- Served as Unit Movement Officer and prepared equipment valued at over $30M for transport to Afghanistan
- Served as a plans officer for a 3,500 man Infantry Brigade; responsible for identifying training requirements, allocating resources, conducting operational analysis and leading planning development
- Served as the lead planner for Brigade force integration; planned and supervised the distribution of over $40M of new equipment
- Led a Brigade current operations cell during a deployment to Afghanistan; tracked and managed the movement of nearly 1,600 US troops and all associated equipment from a single point of entry into Afghanistan to their final outlying locations. Any admissions advice or other suggestions for school would be greatly appreciated- I'm having a hard time gauging feasible schools for me to apply to.

Thanks for sharing your profile. You have a very interesting profile. You excelled academically with a strong GPA and have some exemplary service record while in the military with some impressive leadership and teamwork examples that should certainly stand out amongst your peers. Now on the negative side your GMAT is on the lower end for most of your target schools. I think most of the schools you have listed you will be competitive for. I think to make yourself more competitive for these programs outside of re-taking the GMAT I would really focus on telling a truly compelling fit story for these programs that links not only your past experiences with your future career goals that showcases why school X is the ideal program for you. I would also make sure to highlight aspects of your military service that really bring the reader into your world as a member of the military focusing on your leadership, teamwork, creative, and challenges that most applicants certainly won't be able to compete with.
