if 0< x< 1
we can arrange the sequence in the ascending form
x^3 < x^2 < x < sqroot x < x^-1
median = middle value = x
If you are unsure of the sequence, just plug in x= 1/4
1/64 < 1/16 < 1/4 < 1/2 < 4
Hence A.
