My teacher was very effective. I could tell that he wanted me to do my best. The study materials and homework were in-line with the actual GMAT test. The practice test were very helpful in conditioning my mind for 3hrs of grueling testing. I think the course helped to improve my score.

It has been 15 years since I graduated from college. My results from the first practice test scared me. It was like taking a test from Mars. Had I lost all of my academic skills?

The Kaplan class helped raise my confidence. With its structured material, useful test-taking strategies, and extra course work, I could see I was at least on the right track for sharpening my brain. For me, the Kaplan class was like a personal trainer. It was helpful to have someone there to push you along as motivation.

My teachers were fun and made the classes interesting. They were personable and I felt I could approach any of them online. My only gripe is they switched teachers because it was more fun to bond with one. Still I thought all 4 instructors were very good/great teachers in inspiring me.

I have broadband Internet, so I didn't experience any glitches taking the class online . They sent headphones w/microphone, but it was a waste of money because we never used it. I liked the interactive online experience with real-time video and "chat" participation. It was also cool to see classmates from all over the world.

When I finally took my GMAT, I scored 690 and a 6 on writing - numbers beyond my wildest expectations. It was a huge leap from the 400 practice test. I honestly don't think I could've done it without the Kaplan class.

Skeptical about taking a class online? Kaplan's GMAT Live Online course will make you a believer. Not only is the course incredibly convenient- you just need a computer and an internet connection to participate- but its just as engaging as being in a classroom! Whether you're at a coffee shop, home, or travelling, the course's format uses live chat, audio and video to deliver every lesson. The best part? The lessons are available online 24/7, so if you need to review anything you can always jump into your Kaplan account and get a quick refresher!

You won't need to go over the material repeatedly though: Kaplan's teachers aren't just friendly and fun, they're also really good at what they do and can break down the GMAT's concepts and Kaplan's proven test taking techniques in ways that make them accessible and memorable.

Online chapter quizzes help you test your comprehension of the lessons. And when you're ready to put it all together and get a dose of the real GMAT, practice tests help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, and even recommend customized practice drills to boost your scoring potential.

If you can't get online, you can always utilize the books Kaplan gives you, which include practice questions and tests, and the information from each lesson for the classes you've taken online. A helpful pocket guide is a quick and easy read to help you stay fresh on the concepts too. I know, because my score improved by more than 25% from my first practice GMAT to the actual test!
