Terry Serres
The Princeton Review - Certified InstructorTerry has been working for the Princeton Review since 2013 and is an all-around standardized test geek, certified in ACT, SAT, GRE, and of course GMAT. The GMAT is his favorite test to teach, because he finds it a meaningful admissions tool, finds the content fascinating, and gets energized by the consistently high motivation of his students. Hes a dedicated grammar nerd who must regularly remind himself that Sentence Correction is not everyones idea of a good time! He has a talent for helping students streamline their essay writing while still getting top scores, for helping students whose scores have plateaued, and for working with non-native speakers. Terrys undergraduate degree, from Yale, was in the Classics (Ancient Greek and Latin) and he is currently finishing a Masters in Forest Ecology at the University of Minnesota. He often works on botanical projects both in the field and in educational settings, and he is active in promoting native plant gardening. He lives in Minneapolis with his partner and is a devoted dad to two shih-tzu mixes.
