Jacob Schiff
The Princeton Review - GMAT InstructorJake began teaching for The Princeton Review in 1996 shortly after moving to San Diego from Charleston, South Carolina where it was just too darn hot. Over the next 20 years, Jake worked as a copywriter at an ad agency, as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University in Malibu, where he earned his MBA in 2001, as an Executive Director of a Princeton Review office, and as a founder of an online marketing education company, but always kept teaching test prep classes because of their singular ability to make a big difference in a students life and career in just a short time. Jake approaches the GMAT with humor, creativity and a passion for perfection. Recognizing the need for speed on any timed test, Jake focuses on the pattern recognition and confidence building that enables the student to quickly and accurately answer any GMAT question. Jakes favorite question from a student is, Is there a faster way to do this? Jake lives in a cottage a few hundred yards away from the Tourmaline surf break, and when hes not in the water, he enjoys tacos, live music, and an unhealthy amount of reality television.
