David Sovka

David comes from a long line of teachers, and has been involved in education in one form or another for his entire career, including environmental education at zoos and aquariums across Canada, community education in New Zealand, and post-secondary education in British Columbia.

Working with GMAT Prep Now’s founder, Brent Hanneson, David applies his 20 years of teaching experience to help students beat the verbal section of the GMAT. With hundreds of high-quality videos delivered by professional educators, students are fast-tracked in developing the skills required to confidently tackle the GMAT and score higher.

David is an active member of the Victoria Advanced Technology Council, as well an executive board member of Victoria’s Spirit Committee, where he works to build community on Canada’s beautiful west coast.

For ten years David wrote an internationally-syndicated humor column, “Dave’s World,” as well as five million book and concert reviews, and a travel series, “The Last Good Place.” He is a published illustrator and cartoonist, and incessantly doodles on the margins of important meeting papers. He is very sorry about that.
