Hi Folks:
I have asked my boss and ex-boss to issue letters of recommendation for MBA. They have agreed however would like to see some sample letters they could base their letters on. Can someone give me link or provide some good examples?
Thanks!

For ideas, they can take a look at this site I've come across: https://www.mbaapplicant.com/universal_r ... dation.htm. I think it was helpful for my referees.
Have you decided which schools you're applying to, because many have their own set of questions. Honestly, I would not recommend sending them a sample letter. You want the letter to reflect their personality and avoid being just another well written and professional letter. If you do send them sample letters, at least avoid sending them the same one. I also recommend doing your own research and coaching them through the process.

I agree 100% especially w/ the coaching since it doesn't sound like they've written a rec before.Mr_T wrote: Honestly, I would not recommend sending them a sample letter. My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.
