MBA in Canada

by saidov.mikhail » Sun Aug 04, 2013 11:31 am
Hi

I dream to live and work in Canada. However I'm not sure if Canada is able to propose great MBA programs.

I'm Ukrainian, 27 years old, 7 years of work experience in global companies, mainly in sales and marketing, last 3 years held senior positions with more than 50 people department under management.

GPA 3.9/4.0
GMAT - aiming at 650
Volunteer experience - founded center for prostitutes and young homeless people

My goal is to become a Chief Commercial officer in Canadian technologic company.

What programs would you advice to consider?

thanks,
Mikhail

Hi Mikhail,

I'm not sure about CCO positions in tech companies specifically, but Canada does have some good MBA programs. You may want to consider looking at Rotman (U of Toronto), Ivey (U of Western Ontario), Desautels (McGill), Sauder (U of British Columbia), Schulich (York), and others.

Definitely see if they would be a good fit for you, whether your desired companies/industries recruit for your desired position there etc.

Good luck!

Thanks Westsidah408 for your reply.

McGill looks pretty attractive. Will do some research
