Hello
I am 32, working as account management (asset management) with 5 years of working experience.
Background CS/EE (Germany), CAIA, FRM and CFA L2
I am goin to taking GMAT asap as i want to apply for NYU,Booth and Wharton(MBA in finance)
These schools mentioned obove have tons of strong candidates(720+) and i am going to take GMAT in 3 months. My quant is quite ok(53+) but verbal scares me most. Is 720 realistic in 3 months?
Any other advice for the mentioned school?
Many thanks and have a great weekend

If you study hard and are good at test-taking you can get a 720 in three months. The bigger question is about where you should apply. As you may know, regular US MBA programs tend not to have thaaat many students who are older. And if you apply when you are 32/33 to matriculate when you are 33/34, you should take into consideration that your chances will be lower than if you apply when you are 25.

My $0.02 on the GMAT front...dhaiz22 wrote: Is 720 realistic in 3 months?
It all depends on your current mock tests score (GMATPREP results only as they are the best indicator of your probable GMAT score)... and the amount of free time you have to study for the GMAT... I'd suggest that you take a mock test to gauge your current level ( check this expert reply on the same : https://www.beatthegmat.com/starting-to- ... tml#700550 )
Btw, the highest achievable score in a section is 51
