I have 10+ years of experience in IT field (including 4 years as a project manager) and am planning to shift to Consulting (management) or Marketing. I prefer a 1 year MBA owing to the reduced cost and duration.
1. Is the Internation MBA program the most popular program from IE and how good is it (like to know from someone who has first hand experience)?
2. Are the programs in English and Spanish different other than the medium used?
3. Between IE and ESADE which is better, if at all one can distinguish?
4. How is the economic situation in Spain now and how is the recruiting scene from these schools as far as recruiters outside Spain are concerned?
5. How is the Career Service in these schools?
6. Do they accomodation facilities or do we need to find our own outside the campus?
MBA from spain

You want to ask someone who went to IE if it's the most popular? And you want to know between IE and ESADE which is better? You can just take a look at the rankings from different publications to find these answers. IMO the rankings don't mean much to these caliber of international schools - Insead, Esade, IESE, IE... it all depends on what you want to do and go in to. If you want to know how the career services are in these schools... call and ask the schools specific questions. You will only be able to get first hand accounts from someone who went to one or the other. It would be better to compare them yourself.nikhilsrl wrote:I have 10+ years of experience in IT field (including 4 years as a project manager) and am planning to shift to Consulting (management) or Marketing. My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.

i would agree with the above poster
though not a first hand experience, i have heard horror stories of intl students stuggling to find placements.
IESE is a far better European MBA program

And not, as you're probably aware too, in the case of IESE or ESADE?gzeidan wrote:Honestly, forget IE. I know several people who got in. It is very easy get accepted there but the reality is that you will really struggle to get a job after graduation.
