MBA after JD without work experience?

by Ajayprasad » Wed Oct 27, 2021 6:56 am
Hi guys,

My name is Ajay. I am from India.
I have just graduated with my bachelor's (Majoring in Finance & Accountancy) from one the top 5 commerce colleges in India. I have been working with a Multinational Investment Bank in Mumbai for the past 4 months and have interned as an Auditor, Tax Consultant, Finance Analyst for nearly 2 years now.

I am about to pursue Juris Doctor in Australia from February 2022. As am planning to become a Tax lawyer and look forward into an MBA to get into Consulting or Finance industry right after my JD.

Will I be able to get into a premier Tier 1 MBA school in US/UK/Europe?
As they weigh work experience, even after completing my JD will they still be prioritising on my Work experience?
Will my Judicial Clerkships or Internships taken up during my 3 year JD still count for my Work experience?
Even with a good GMAT, GRE & LSAT scores - a CGPA of 3.8/4 - will it be still tough to get into these premier MBA schools?

Please do help me out here!

Thanks in advance!
