cramya, a major flaw in your reasoning is, that you are assuming that people buying both P and Q is 0, which may/may not be true.
So, we can't arrive at 0 for it.

I agree with Cramya that the answer should be C.
here is my derivation.
From stmt1 we have P = 1/3
from stmt2 we have Q+PQ = 1/2. The stmt says that 1/2 of the ppl buy Q.
==> Only Q + both Q and P.
So fraction of neither/total = (1 - (1/2+1/3) / 1
= 1/6.
What is the OA?

To, this set if we added those who bought only P, i.e., 1/3 of the people we get the set of people who bought at least one of the product P or Q.
Hence, those who did not buy any of these products will be 1/6th.
