Hello
Has any one of you used RC of Magoosh?
I recently bought Magoosh and they have excellent Math and SC learning/practice material, anyhow I am having touch time with RC; the passages appear way too long, tough, and convoluted. I have read OG passages too - they don't appear as difficult.
Moreover, I also disagree that questions of very difficult passage could be of various types. For example, a very tough passage can have simple, easy, medium, and tough questions. Actually, this is the case with official GMAT too. Magoosh follow same pattern. But I find it very odd.
Anyway, what's your point of view on RC of Magoosh. I am considering to look for some other source for RC and CR.

Yeah I would say Magoosh sections on SC and Quant are quite good. However the sections on DS, RC and CR aren't very good. The guy that does the explanations for the SC and Quant coincidentally is very good. The guy who does RC and CR is a bad teacher and often I find quickly just explains using logic rather then a thorough explanation. Needless to say I have improved leaps and bounds on Q and SC while my RC and DS lags

Thanks I actually saw that yesterday and started reviewing some stuff. Ive always found having 2-3 sources gives you 2-3 different approached and angles. Just the explanation on independent vs dependant clauses and semi colons is much clearer then Magoosh. I plan on stating the math section in 2-3 days. This will probably be my final source and studying before I tackle the exam. Im hoping I can pull out another 30-40 points on my scoreBrent@GMATPrepNow wrote:If you're interested, we have a free set of 16 videos that cover everything you need to know to tackle DS questions: https://www.gmatprepnow.com/module/gmat-data-sufficiencyprada wrote: Needless to say I have improved leaps and bounds on Q and SC while my RC and DS lags
