Hi All,
First off, thank you for your time and input.
I have been studying for the past month or so, whenever I can (work has been super busy). Took a Kaplan practice test and scored 590 (Q47, V20).
My weaknesses in math are timing and silly mistakes. So, every day I do 10-20 problems to keep my mind in the game, and to find tricks to cut time (haven't found many, please share yours if you have any.) Additionally, I am planning on taking a practice exam every week till exam day to hone down timing, guessing, and awareness.
My biggest problem is verbal. I have lived around the world and picked up some bad habits, (idioms (plan on memorizing), pronouns, tenses, tough parallelisms give me trouble.) CR, is a hit or a miss. RC, zone in and out, plan on doing a couple passages a day to build tolerance/stamina.
I plan on taking a GMATPrep in the coming weekend to get a truer gauge of my score.
Any suggestions on how I should proceed? Please let me know if you need any additional information from me. My goal is to break 700.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
A
