Booth vs Columbia?

by alienvirus » Tue Mar 06, 2012 7:54 am
Hi,

I wanted to hear people's opinions to help me make the decision - intending to work in finance post graduation.

Thanks.

Congrats, alienvirus, for the awesome admits!

I'd say you should post this question on MBA Watch. That way you're bound to get more replies. Just post it on either school's comment wall (i.e. Columbia here; https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/school/c ... a/comments ) and mention both Columbia and Booth and it will automatically appear on both comment walls.

Booth hands down if you want to work in finance. 50% of people go into finance. All the top finance people recruit there. You may say the same for Columbia, but Booth in general is more widely accepted as a better program, facilities, less "sharks" like Columbia. However, the location is Columbia in my opinion is better there in Manhattan and not in the slums of Chicago.
