Hey everyone!
This is my first post but I've been on here since Jan'10 getting motivation in hopes of a target score of 650.
I'm taking the Kaplan course and I've taken 4 CATS thus far but I'm having trouble understanding their Quant/Verbal percentage score in comparison to most of the percentage scores posted on here.
CAT 1 (Diagnostic): 500 36% overall, Q40%,V27%
CAT 2: 490 34% overall, Q34%,V33%
CAT 3: 500 36% overall, Q38%,V33%
CAT 4: 560 54% overall, Q46%,V43%
How do I compare the percentage they give to how all the users post their percentage score on this forum?
Any other Kaplan students out there that can answer this question?

Hi seattlecali,
Our percent scores represent your percentile score--that is, the percentage of all test-takers that got your score or worse. Your individual section percentile are the same. Our percentages are based off the real GMATs numbers.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
