For the moment, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I'm going to give an in-depth review of my overall study, but for now I'm off for a weekend vacation with my wife. This test couldn't have kicked off the weekend better.

I just received my official score report (a whopping 6 days after test day!) and scored a 5.0 on AWA. Not awesome, not bad.
I neglected to mention anything about this aspect of my studying, but I found it helpful to write one essay by 8am on any morning when I had the time. I wanted to get used to thinking and writing early in the morning. I probably ended up writing 20 essays total and I think I needed every one of them just to get back into the groove of writing full essays. By the time G-day came, AWA was no problem.
