by silvia928 » Mon May 26, 2008 10:50 pm
If f is the function defined by (fx)=2x for x greater or equal zero and f(x) = x^2 for x<0, what is the value of f(c)?

(1) |c| =2
(2) c<0

Ans. (A)

I dont understand why its (A) ?
i thought |c|=2 means c= -2 or 2

it does. In both cases f(c) = 4.
