Hi Buddy,

Thanks for sharing your profile in depth. Glad to see a profile like yours. Wondering about your GMAT score, if you carry a decent GMAT , then you must be an ideal candidate for any top b-school. Hope you have written excellent essays which is a make or break component. While assessing your application, top b-schools looks for candidates who have demonstrated the leadership qualities in their professional or personal lives. Leadership qualities don't necessarily mean leading teams - they could also mean the initiatives you had taken, your achievements, impact-orientation and career progression.

All the best, Hope you make it to ISB.

Not sure if you have already put in the application or if this was for next cycle. Nonetheless, a few points to ponder:
- The work designation sounds good; however it will be important to understand the nature of your job and how it 'connects' with your post-MBA plans. The overall story/pitch has to be sound and robust to ensure you leverage your not-so-common experience well.

- While the awards lineup looks good, always express it in relative terms to ensure someone outside of LnT understands if they are really a big deal or not.

- Your ECs in college look decent. However, recency effect is quite crucial and if there has been a void since graduation, this is likely to be a bit of a blind spot.

- The NIT pedigree, if complemented with a nice GMAT can definitely make for a pretty good/strong academic arc.

Hope this helps some.

Cheers,
