Is low gpa a deal breaker??

I am Turkish woman applying to top 10 MBA programs (Kellogg, UChicago, Wharton, Columbia, INSEAD). What are my chances?
Work exp: 6 yrs (4 yrs management consulting)
GMAT: 740
GPA: 2.57
Graduated from one of the top 3 Turkish universities

Hi there,
It is going to make it tough for you, especially at those top schools. It's not a deal breaker since there is no minimum GPA, but yours will be well below the average. Good news is that you have a high GMAT so that will help. Have you or can you take any supplemental courses to build an alternate transcript? That can help. Also, depending on the circumstances, you will probably want to use the Optional Essay to explain your low GMAT and reference any better/more recent indicators of your academic abilities. Finally, because it will lower your chances your at those schools, definitely have at least one backup / safe option outside the top 10.
