Sweaters

In this question, I thought B is not sufficient because I understand 100 are not made of pure wool but what if 50 sweaters could be made of cotton...

Statement 2:
According to the prompt, there are 150 red sweaters.
All of these red sweaters must be either MADE OF WOOL or NOT MADE OF WOOL.
Since 100 of these red sweaters are NOT MADE OF WOOL, the remaining 50 red sweaters must be MADE OF WOOL.
