Is 107 TOEFL okay for Columbia?

Hi,

Columbia has no guidelines for the TOEFL score, however do you have an idea of the approximate class average?

Is 107 too low as it is for HBS or for Columbia is good?

Thanks.

massi2884, none of the schools publish TOEFL scores so it's unlikely you'll get a definitive answer anywhere on the forums. A 107 might be a little low for a top school but it's not impossible. Columbia will also be looking for evidence of English ability elsewhere in your app. Depending on where you're at in your process and how far along you are with essays etc., you *might* consider retesting... but much depends on your overall profile and lots of other factors, so we are not at all suggesting that you "must" retest.

You probably know this already but just in case: An Early Decision app is HIGHLY recommended if you're serious about Columbia.

Hope this helps!
