inductive-logical test (scales cls)

by anastasios1984 » Tue Nov 06, 2012 2:13 pm
I am not sure if it is the right place to post this. Excuse me for that people.
I am having an online assessemnt this Friday and among others I will have to take an inductive-logical test, at least that is how it is called from Cut-e, the company which provides the tests. I might have an example but I am not sure I can skip the test and study it. So here I am. Please check the attached picture. I am not really sure of the main idea since I translate the below from a German forum

- There are 6 charts composed from numbers and letters. 3 of them have a blue dot underneath and the other three have an orange dot above. There are four charts with only white dots that need to be distributed in a way that will include all the charts with orange and blue dots.

This is the description that can be found online at Cut-e's site:
Measures inductive logical reasoning. The task is to find out rules and interrelations which assign tables to two different categories. The discovered rules need to be applied in order to assign new tables to the adequate categories.

I am kindly asking for your help - reasoning tutors might have an idea!
Any clues of how to prepare for this stuff? some tips, training tests?

Thanks for your time and effort in advance![/img]
