If you could be a field reporter anywhere in the world, where would you want to go and why? (250 words maximum)

what is this essay question trying to "test" or get the applicant to express?? I am very confused since it is VERY broad...

any help or thoughts how to approach would be great...thanks

First of all, I apologize for my previous post.

I meant to start a new topic line. The essay question you mentioned is similar to being asked about the last book you read. Adcom is trying to get an idea about your unique areas of interest and find out how well (and succinctly) you can articulate them. The question is broad and will create a variety of answers however you should just focus on what is important/interesting to you.
