\(\dfrac{22.5 \cancel{\text{ mi}}}{1\cancel{\text{ gallon}}} \cdot \dfrac{1.6 \text{ kilometers}}{1 \cancel{\text{ mi}}} \cdot \dfrac{1 \cancel{\text{ gallon}}}{3.8 \text{ liters}}=\dfrac{20 \cdot 2}{4}=10 \text{ kilometers / liter}\)
