I took the GMAT this morning, as I do every year. The quant topics were no different from
the ones last year (lots of percents, number properties, solid geometry, combinatronics, absolute values, overlapping sets, median, ratios).

Nor was the verbal section much different- no science texts, lots of standard SC questions- comparisons abounded

My score was 790, 51q, 51v. I guess my 51q was almost a 50q... Maybe next year I'll get 800.

Wow, very cool. Do you finish the sections with time to spare?

Unbelievable.

How many times have you taken it over the last years and what were your scores if you dont mind me asking?

All the best,
Jas

Practice may make perfect, but in my case, it's taking quite a few years!

How much do you practice a year? You mostly increased...I guess all the top instructors of the nations take the GMAT and out of that batch 50 people make it to 800.

Increasing those 10 points must be like me wanting to increase a 150 from 580 to 730.

Did you finish the sections with time to spare? The reason I ask you this is I want to know if the GMAT gives you a fight of any kind given the CAT nature aspect...

Well, good luck in 2011!
