Do I need to take the TOEFL?

by [email protected] » Sun Aug 30, 2020 7:43 am
Dear All,

To give you a bit of context, I am a French national and I hold a MSc degree from a UK university (full time program, 1 year).

My question is: do I have to take the TOEFL exam?

I have read in different B-schools websites that if you have followed a degree program in English, then you don't have to submit a language test score.

What do you think?

Thanks!

It’ll be wrong to say that we’re not aware of “To be or not to be,” “Et Tu, Brute?” and many other such iconic one-liners in the English language.

Given English’s pervasiveness (such as the fact that this article is in English!), it’s not surprising that most colleges abroad hold a certain partiality towards English proficiency, so much so that there are two internationally accepted exams exclusively to assess your English.

What is TOEFL?
Test of English as a Foreign Language is basically an English exam that tests your basic knowledge of spoken and written English. It is accepted by more than 9000 institutions all over the world. To know more about TOEFL and it's importance https://www.gyandhan.com/blogs/how-impo ... oefl-score

No, instead, take the test that comes with the ETS official guides, record your speaking, and copy and paste your writings so that a teacher can review them after you've completed the entire test. Many centers may require you to take mock tests in order to obtain a score and obtain more tutoring money. Just note that your mock test score should be 5-10 points higher than your goal score to give you some breathing space.
