Two/three versions of GMAT Prep??

by adi_800 » Wed Jul 21, 2010 8:46 am
Hi,

I wanted to know about two versions of GMAT Prep...

In Dec 2008, I gave GMAT once and got a CD after booking a date. On that CD, it is written as version 1.1.

Now, I have taken a date and got a CD. On that CD, it is written as Version 1.2

So, it seems that there are at least two versions of GMAT prep software.
Also, from some other thread, I got to know that there is Version 1.0.

Can anyone tell me the difference between in these two/three versions of GMAT Prep?
Are the questions same/different?

Is there any difference between the difficulty level? If yes, then how much difference is der?
If not, are the questions are different?

Please let me know about these versions?

Thanks,
Aditya

Hello
I've heard about two different versions and my understanding is that there is a lot of overlap between these two versions but there are some questions that are unique to each test. However, since the GMATPrep software has over 1000 questions I don't think the earlier version will make too much of a difference in your studying. The difficulty level between the exams should be the same.

Cheers
