On mba.com the retake policy states that one must wait 31 days before retaking the GMAT. Is this a new policy? I understand that in the past one only needed to take the test in two different calendar months, meaning that one could take the test Dec 29 and then Jan 2.

Can you please clarify? I need to take the test twice before Jan 10, 2007 and I’m trying to figure out when to do so.

Thanks!

I don't think that this is a new policy. This 31-day rule was true when I took the GMAT in 2005.
