Help Required -- Why MBA??

by trgtgmat2013 » Wed Nov 09, 2016 6:47 am
Hi Friends

Iam 27 years old Indian male.

I work as an ERP Consultant. I have 6 years of experience. I have an Engineering degree from a not so known college.

I have been thinking of giving the GMAT and wanted an MBA from the US.

But the question is Why MBA??? Can anyone help me out regarding the same. I want to get into consulting firms like McKinsey/BCG. But I am not sure which consulting. If not the answer, can someone guide me how to explore the options and do the retrospection.

Thanks
Shashi

I agree with the person above. Why do you want to take the GMAT and get an MBA? That actually baffles me that you say you want to do those things but you're asking us as to why. Now, do you mean, how should one go about answering the question? Because that's a different story. But if you're asking us why you should get an MBA and go work at the companies you suggested... yes... only you can answer that my friend! ;-)
