Hi all,
I recently asked an MBA representative at HEC Paris about whether my recommenders could write their letter in french. The person strongly suggested that they write the letter in English. I fail to see the logic. It's not my recommenders' english written abilities that are being evaluated here...
I received no problem sending french recommendation letters in english universities in montreal, but for HEC Paris...
Has anyone had their recommenders send a letter in french?
Regards,
mr T

Bottom line is, if the admissions office is requesting English, better to do as they request. Have you considered having the letter translated? Probably wouldn't cost much and would eliminate the hassle of them having to do an English version.
