Great Supply Chain/Logistics programs

by Vorskl » Fri May 27, 2011 12:32 am
Dear all,
I have strong interest in supply-chain oriented MBA programs, however so far I identified only two schools with strong reputation in that field:
MIT
Ross

US News' rating provides rather weird selection of schools

Could you please assist me with your opinions?
Thanks!

Hey Vorskl,

I also have a 710 and am looking for supply chain/operations oriented programs. Maybe we can bounce some ideas off eachother. I would add Tepper (Carnegie Mellon) - 2 in operations, 4 in supply chain us news. I also care about decision science and modeling which would be a strong fit for someone who wants to participate in Network analysis, logistics, ect. and Duke has a strong decision science program as does NYU. I am of course looking to schools that I fit within the student profile for GMAT, GPA, WE. Wharton has a good amount of supply chain classes.

My list:
MIT
Tepper (operations research is attractive to me)
Ross
Duke (decision Science combined with operations)

Let me know if you'd like to kick around ideas or help eachother as the 2011 application season begins.

Yes. Most of mine has been on the manufacturing side. I have been the accountant at a food manufacturer for 4 years.
