GMAT WRITE

by DBushkalov » Mon Apr 15, 2013 3:38 am
hi fellows,

just a short question.

I just took the GMAT WRITE writing task number one and got this: ( see attachament)

does this mean that i really got 6 on the AWA, or does it simply show me the dimensions ??

I know it sounds like a stupid question but I just can not comprehend how could I have got a 6 on all dimensions.

Thank you in advance for the response

It looks like the computer program that scores GMAT essays gave your essay a 6 - congrats!
Since you got the highest score possible, I wouldn't worry too much about the individual dimensions (they are merely meant to help analyze a less-than-perfect score).

I thought I should mention that, on test day, your essay will also be graded by a human marker. For more information about how your essays are graded, please see out free video on the topic: https://www.gmatprepnow.com/module/gmat- ... assessment

Thank you for posting the screenshot of your generated report. Now that, I assume, you have taken the actual test, could you please share your actual AWA score for us to see how accurately GMAT WRITE evaluated your writing ability?

Thanks!

Hi Dbushkalov,

I agree with Brent; since you scored a 6 on your AWA, you don't need to worry about each subsection of your score. How have you been scoring in quant and verbal on your practice exams?
