I was wondering how much my Verbal score should be to get 650+ if I get Q41-43? Or is that even possible?

Certainly possible. You'd likely need a Verbal score in the high 30's to hit 650 with a Quant score in that range. A very rough, totally unscientific metric: if your quant + verbal raw scores sum to about 80, you're likely in the 650 neighborhood.jeesa wrote:I was wondering how much my Verbal score should be to get 650+ if I get Q41-43? Hi jeesa,
There are a variety of different 'score combinations' that will lead to a 650+. With a Quant Scaled Score in the low-Q40s, a Verbal Scaled Score in the high-V30s (approximately V38 and up) would be required. With Quant Scaled Scores in the low-Q40s, you're making some little mistakes as you work through the section and you're missing out on LOTS of 'strategy-based' points. Eliminating those little mistakes in the Quant section would significantly improve your Quant Scaled Score though, so you wouldn't need to score as high in the Verbal section to hit 650+.

Here is a score calculator to help you: https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/gmat ... alculator/
Based on this, you'd probably need between a 37-40 on verbal to get a 650 if you're getting 41-43 on quant. There is always some slight variability, though, as these scaled scores are rounded up or rounded down from the true raw score.
