GMAT Scores for PhD Programs

by busychick » Tue Jun 07, 2011 9:16 am
I have a 690 GMAT score with 3.98 GPA undergrad. Would that be competitive to get into a business doctoral program at a school like Carnegie Mellon?

GMAT score and GPA is not the only factors that will decide your MBA application. If you are applying for a Ph.D Program, you definitely need to have work experience. So please tell about that :)

Hi BusyChick,

You should check out the website PhDProject.org. Whether you are a US minority or not, they have a treasure trove of information about applying to PhD programs in Business. I went to their annual conference years ago when I was trying to decide between an MBA and a DBA and it was excellent.

Here's the website: https://www.phdproject.org/index.asp

Good luck!
