GMAT Prep IR# 7

by champwix » Mon Mar 18, 2013 4:23 pm
Can some one please help me understand the explanation and the answer for the question# 7-B (Please find attached snap for the ques)?

Image

I clearly see that the 7-B answer explanation itself says the statement is Inferable, but the answer mentioned is 'Not Inferable'. Am I mistaken?
Please clarify.
Thank you!!

It cannot be inferred that B is true: the data suggests that the IPO was not too low.

Hey champwix!

The way they have these answers formatted can make it confusing, but the INFER at the top of the answer isn't saying that the correct answer Can be Inferred, it is telling you what "type" of question they think this is (an infer question, versus say, analyze).

Hope this helps!
