From 1 and 2 we know that z > 0

From 1 m > 3z > 0

Hence C

i think it C .. whats the OA

1. m-3z>0 .......... m >3z
m z m+z
4 1 5
-1 -5 -6

2. 4z - m >0 .............. m<4z
m z m+z
2 1 3
-5 -1 -6

after combining.... also does not give any result
3z<m<4z
m z m+z
3.5 1 4.5

So C.... pls. let me know the OA

when we combine both equations ...add 1 and 2 we get z > 0 ...

No since z > 0 ...and from 1 we know that m > 3z m + z > 0 ..
Hence C ..
Hope this helps

IMO ans should be E

m + z > 0 ?

here we can say that if both m,n are +ve then m+z>0 & if boh m,n are -ve then m+z is less than 0

1) m-3z>0 or m>3z

here both are possible i.e m>3z>0 or 0>m>3z INSUFF

2) 4z-m>0 4z>m again both scenarios are possible here also INSUFF

Combine 3z<m<4z but still we can say that

3z<m<4z<0 & 0<3z<m<4z

INSUFF

E

the scenario

3z<m<4z<0 cannot arise

Thanks for pointing out. :)
