Hi,
The internal entrance test for the Global MBA program is called SPJAT. The test paper pattern is similar to the GMAT and CAT. The test is to determine an individuals maths skills, reasoning, current affairs (GK) and english fluency.
The GK questions are based on current affairs across the globe. So be well aware about the issues taken place in the past one year atleast.
Hope this helps you.

Yes, we do accept GMAT scores. Though we consider the overall profile of the candidate,it is rare for us to admit Participants with a GMAT less than 650 or CAT /SPJAT less than 80 percentile and a minimum 3 years of work experience.
Since you have a GMAT score of 650 and a good amount of working experience, you are perfectly eligible to apply for our Global MBA Program. However, you are also permitted to take the SPJAT. We shall then consider your best score.
Do let us know if you have any more queries related to our program.

Hi,
Normally we prefer participants with a full time work experience of 3 years or more. But a small percentage of participants with 2 years work experience are also be considered. And yes, we definitely consider other aspects like extra curricular activities while scrutinizing a participant profile. So you can surely go ahead and apply. We are currently open for the November 2011 batch. Which batch are you planning to apply for?

What will the best time to apply for Nov-2012 session ?
I had applied to SPJ GMBA in 2006 and even gave SPJAT at that time. I scored 97% at that time but could not convert it into a admit.
So i decide to wait for some time and gain some more experience. Now as i have 7 yr of exp, i would like to apply again. Does my previous SPJAT score could be considered a good factor in my candidancy.
Also as i was not provided any official transcript for my SPJAT sscore, will it be possible for SPJain Adcom to pull up my 2006 score just for information purpose that i have scored well in that year.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
Saurabh

Hi Saurabh,
Admissions for Global MBA November 2012 session will begin in June 2012.
Its great that you have seven years of experience. This surely give a lot of weightage to your profile. However, we wouldn't be able to consider your SPJAT score taken in 2006. We accept SPJAT scores upto one year. You can re-appear for the test. If you are planning to apply for the November- 2011 batch, aptitude test for the same are currently conducted.
Do let us know if you have further queries.
Good luck!

I would like to know if there are any chances of me, getting selected in S P Jain GMBA prog. I'm an engineering Undergraduate from India with 69.56%.
Do not have a good score in GMAT or CAT, so preferred to go for SPJAT.
Current Work experience: 2 years and 6 Months. ( By April'12: work Experience will be 2 years and 8 months). Design engineer in an automotive MNC.
Decent Extra curricular activities in college and school.
Since my work experience is some 4 months less than requisite. Is this advisable to apply for Master of Global Business (MGB), a new course initiated by S P Jain Dubai & singapore campus.
Also, can anybody pls elaborate the test pattern. It's important for me because in next 10 days I'll be appearing for SPJAT.
Pls help me!!!
Thank you

Hi,
i am an engineer graduate work ex close to 2 yrs, i wanted to know how good is the new MGB program as compared to GMBA, is there any session being held for deatil information for this prog, not much is mentioned on website and also one last thing the exam date for SPMAT has unfortunately clashed with one of MBA college interviews(GD-PI), so is this test held for one day only?
