gap in resume

Hi All,

Does a one year break after senior secondary school , before getting into an under grad college also considered as a gap in resume ??

In India, it may be a big deal....but if you are applying outside, it is very common for most people after high school to take a gap year and do something fun or gain experience and then go back to college.
