Writing multiple spaces. Creating tables

by avenus » Tue May 12, 2009 3:03 pm
Is it possible to write multiple spaces using a tag other than \[code\]?

Below an example of what you get with the code tag, but I'd like something without that white frame that shows the text normally, only without trimming the spaces down to one.

And what about tags to create tables?

Code: Select all

               a b

               c d

Thanks for this suggestion--you are the first member to request a feature like this, it's a cool idea.

To the best of my knowledge we don't have a feature like this available on our forum, nor are we scoping any engineering work to building something like this in the future. Right now, I can suggest two workarounds:
  • Using the code feature as you have been doing to date
  • Building the tables on another application and sharing a screenshot
I like your idea though--I'd like to keep investigating and exploring this as a possible development task.

All the best,

Eric
