Please note a mistake in the answer for example Problem 5 on Page 9. The answer should read 72, not 54. 24 is the lowest common multiple of 4,6 and 8. The wire is cut into three parts. 3(24) = 72.
A total length of 54 would give a non - integer length (thus non-integer section lengths) for the third part of the wire, where it is split in 8
