For all integers n, the function f is defined by f (n) = an, where a is a constant. What is the value of f (1)?
(1) f (2) = 100
(2) f (3) = -1,000

Stmt I

f(2) = 100
a*2 = 100
a = 50

We can find out f(1)

f(3) = -1000
a*3 = -1000
a = -1000/3

We can find out f(1)
