expected answer

Frazer was supposed to take the cube root of x and then square of that. Instead of that he took the square of x first and then took the cube root. The answer obtained is
A. smaller than expected answer.
B. larger than expected answer.
C. same as expected answer.
D. opposite in sign to the expected answer.
E. in variance with x.

Should be C. xsqrt3^2 or x2sqrt3

(x)2/3 or (x)2/3 either way

seems hard, but just plug in a number. i.e. 8
8^1/3 = 2; 2^2 = 4
8^2 = 64; 64^1/3= 4

they are the same... :P

I agree. should be C

(x^1/2)^1/3 = (x^1/3)^1/2. Both are x^1/6
