I got my admission notice today.
Greatly benefited from this forum for my GMAT score(690 38V/47Q/6.0 AWA). Thanks guys.
I am an Indian male with 12 years of work experience in IT. I didn't have a lot of community involvement to write about in my essays, but wrote about whatever little I had in the context of my work experience and tried to project a 'complete package' feel. I also think my recommendations helped out, even though I didn't get a chance to read them, since I opted to not get copies of the recommendations.
I only targeted part time programs in socal and am really happy with this acceptance.

As a consultant, I wanted to make a quick note on one of go4gold's comments. An applicant should ALWAYS, waive his or her right to see recommendations!! You should never read what someone has written about you. Obviously ask recommenders who you have a great deal of confidence in, but, then waive your rights - the recommendations are much more credible in the eyes of the Admissions Committee!!
And, CONGRATS on your acceptance!
