Hello Everyone:
I'm thinking of taking the GRE over the GMAT as many top MBA programs are accepting the GRE. Please share your thoughts. Also, i heard the GRE exam is easier than the GMAT.
Thanks,
Sleepy

MIT accepts only GRE for it's operations management PhD program. How sick
I might even consider writing GRE now

I did my MBA from IIM Kozhikode '09 batch ; Most of the Schools accept GMAT. Some prefer GRE and MIT is one place which accepts GRE alone(operations management). One of GMAT/GRE is essential I am going with GMAT this time.sars72 wrote: whoa! awesome! a PhD applicant in our midst. I think I would still prefer to take the GMAT over the GRE... actually "I think" isn't the operative phrase seeing as though... I'm going too...
Schools rankings still report the avg GMAT score - I have yet to see them also report avg GRE score.

My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.

There's a section at the end of the latest podcast by MBA Podcaster that talks about the GREs being accepted by business schools. Basically the top B-schools accept the GRE mainly for candidates who have decided late in the game that they've wanted to apply. At least that was the reasoning behind it.
The issue is addressed a little more than halfway through...
