How technical should a resume be?

by tsharma » Fri Dec 21, 2012 8:31 am
I've updated my technical engineering resume to a more generic 1 page resume. Instead of going into details of all the engineering tools and acronyms related to my field, I've presented a general idea of my work in a project and the impact of my work on the project. I have got rid of all the high tech technical terms because of the audience that will review my resume. I have briefly mentioned the courses and skills related to engineering at tht end of the resume. Is this a good approach?

Absolutely!!It is the right approach.Your MBA resume should be free of industry jargon.Make sure your 1-page resume provides a clear and concise picture of your skills, experience, accomplishments (quantifiable), education, and interests/hobbies.
