Does 2 months enough time for Preparation ??

by chargal » Sun May 03, 2009 8:54 pm
Hi, I have my GMAT scheduled for June last week. I have started with OG for Quans. I am yet to take my GMAT Prep Exams. Any idea if 2 months ample time for preparation along with my job.

Also any suggestions regarding the way of preparation is appreciated. Please let me know.

Thanks..

2 months is a bit tight, but may be enough depending on how much work you need.

For study strategies, you can look at the "I just Beat the GMAT" subforum, where people who have succeded have posted lots of great debriefs.

I think the key to improving is to study smart, and to study hard. For instance, if you divide your study into individual topics, you can track your performance on any one topic and quickly adapt your study to your needs. I split my study into 14 Verbal and 16 Quant topics (I think). You can see the details of my debrief where I go in depth about the strategies that worked for me vs those that didn't work at www.beatthegmat.com/gmatpost

If you're just starting, you may be interested in the free GMATFix live classes. I've not attended any yet (I registered for one that begins this week), so I cannot tell you how good they are, but it's worth taking a look. There is an open thread about these live online classes at https://www.beatthegmat.com/free-gmatfix ... 35354.html
