well I took it again today and scored a 640 (47Q/31V)
Here is my post from the last time I took it (I got a 580): https://www.beatthegmat.com/bombed-the-g ... tml#356828
This time around I finished quant with 15 min to spare. I don't know what happened in verbal. My scores in practice were ranging from 720-760 on MGMAT and GMATPrep tests.
So last night I only got about 2 hrs of sleep. For some reason I could not sleep. I did pretty good in quant but when verbal came around I was so tired I could not comprehend what I was reading or recognize the patterns in SC. I usually got between 41-42 in practice tests...
The quant felt so easy.. Should I retake the test? what do you guys think?
Didn't beat it but big improvement

You should retake if you think you can get some sleep If lack of sleep was the reason you did poorly on the verbal section that's something that's easy to fix. Especially if you think you can maintain your quant performance, if you have the time and the money it would be worth it if it means you can do that much better on the verbal. Going from a 31 to a 41 would noticeably raise your score and it would also be a more balanced score.
